Yesterday, the award ceremony to recognize the best 50 restaurants in Latin America in 2017 was held, and restaurants in Mexico obtained 13 of the 50 places.
And although Mexico did not get the first place this time, the ranking was very good, for example, the 4th place went to Pujol, the best Mexican restaurant, where the Chef Enrique Olvera works with passion.
Among these recognized food heavens, a Baja California restaurant was included in the list of the best 50.
For its concept, excellent dishes and fresh products of the region, the restaurant "Corazón de Tierra" stands out (once again) among the greatest.
Corazón de Tierra is located in Ensenada at the Valley of Guadalupe, where after the passing of the years, the work of Chef Diego Hernandez has obtained many awards.
On this occasion, "Corazón de Tierra" took the place number 34 of the 50 best restaurants in Latin America.
It is importanto to highlight that Chef Hernandez started a new concept called Verlaine located in West Hollywood, where he mixes Mexican and Mediterranean cuisine with Japanese influences.
On your next visit to Ensenada consider eating in one of the best restaurants in Latin America which is a few kilometers from the city of Tijuana.
