CABORCA, SONORA.- With Trayvon Lathan "calling the shots", Tijuana Zonkeys swept the Opening Series of the 2014 season of the Basketball Circuit of the Pacific Coast (Cibacopa) by beating Caborca Mineros 100-82.

Lathan was the best scorer of the night with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists; he was followed by Luis "Chupa" Ramirez with 21 units and 17 from Arim Solares.

Tijuana Zonkeys will now come back to the border city in order to prepare for a friendly on Wednesday April 2nd against Mexicali Bomberos in the Auditorio Municipal de Tijuana.

The Opening Series at home will be played until April 12th and 13th against current champions Hermosillo Rayos; the team will play 2 away series on the mean time.
