Amazing! New total solar eclipse will darken sky in Baja California

Find out when this total solar eclipse will occur

On Monday, many citizens in Mexico were witnesses to an unparalleled event: a solar eclipse which, in some areas, was total. However, in Tijuana the visibility of the eclipse was 65% and though we were not able to appreciate the whole show, we will be one of the main stars when this astronomic phenomenon happens again.

When will the next total solar eclipse reach Baja California?

According to experts, the next total solar eclipse will pass through Baja California on September 23, 2071, blessing the state with a total view of this phenomenon, which only a few countries will be able to do.

It has been revealed that a total of 60 countries will only see a partial solar eclipse, just like we did today. The following countries, however, will be the ones who will enjoy a total solar eclipse in that future date:

  • Mexico
  • Colombia
  • Brazil
  • Venezuela
  • Guyana
  • Suriname
  • French Guiana

Here is the visibility path that this event will have in the next few decades which will for surely excite many just like it did today.
