Horror fan? California Midsummer Scream, the event that will make your nightmares come true, is coming back

Attendants will be able to enjoy a weekend full of frightening surprises, performances, panels, special guests, and much more

Monsters, vampires, and zombies will wander through the Long Beach Convention Center as part of the 7th edition of Midsummer Scream, an interesting celebration inspired by horror.

This event will take place in California with dozens of vendors that will offer items related to horror and cinema, including special effects and makeup. In addition, there will be haunted experiences and immersive photo exhibitions.

It is often said that it is never too early to celebrate Halloween, which is why Midsummer Scream announced its return to the Long Beach Convention Center from July 26 to July 28, 2024.

Though this event is 4 months away, passes are already selling out which is why if you wish to attend, you can purchase them in advance at midsummerscream.org/ with a special 40% discount in general admission tickets for a limited time.

The 7th edition of Midsummer Scream promises to be a weekend full of frightening surprises. This year's theme is "paranormal" which is why real, never-before-seen ghost stories will be explored.

There will be panels, presentations, and special experiences and people who want to dress up as their favorite horror characters are encouraged to attend.

This event will have a list of special guests such as Roger L. Jackson, the voice of Ghostface in Scream; John Kassir from Tales from the Crypt; Garret Sander, creator of Monster High, accompanied by the cast of this animated TV series, and much more.

“For tens of thousands of Halloween lovers throughout Southern California and beyond, Midsummer Scream has become the official start of the Halloween season," David Markland, cofounder and executive director of Midsummer Scream stated. "We’re urging fans to make their plans now so they can enjoy an event not to be missed.”
