Starting on Monday, March 4, 2024, lanes at Avenida Constituyentes, Delegación Otay Centenario, will be partially closed due to reconstruction work on the slab with hydraulic concrete in the low-speed lane between Calzada Tecnológico and Bulevar Lázaro Cárdenas. The Municipal Administration of Tijuana asks of citizens to take precautions.
This closure will take 11 days. Works will take place from Monday, March 4 to Friday, March 15 which will include work on demolition, dirt roads, and filtering of plastering and concrete slabs from 7 AM to 5 PM. Only local traffic will be able to drive through here.
Vehicular traffic that moves through Calzada Tecnológico, or the one coming from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC), that wishes to use the descending ramp to the bus station and then towards 5 y 10, will need to use the Otay exit to go around Calle Constituyentes as it will be partially closed due to improvement works.
The access on the Constituyentes road will be only for local traffic entering the area's shops, which is why the Municipal Administration of Tijuana is asking citizens to drive carefully in the area, to take precautions when going to their destinations, and to keep themselves safe by avoiding the area whenever heavy machinery is being used.
