Celebrating National Wedding Planning Day, which takes place on March 1, this information will surely be appreciated by couples in the city, as many wish their wedding to take place in a rural environment.

Among the criteria considered for this ranking there were weather conditions, access, local interest, online interest through number of searches, quality, price, number of places available for rent, and reservations.

The city ranked 1st place on barn-themed weddings is Chicago, followed by Austin, Cincinnati, Louisville, Charlotte, Nashville, Cleveland, Seattle, and San Diego.

Other Californian cities that stood out were Indio, Temecula, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara.

Among couples' favorite places there are Canopy Grove, Circle Oak Ranch, Leo Carrillo Ranch, The Old Rancho, Venue 808, and Ethereal Gardens.
