Through the Municipal Institute of Sports (IMDET) of the 24th Municipal Administration of Tijuana, presided by mayor Montserrat Caballero, the delegation tournament activity of Bicicross (BMX) 2024 began in the La Presa Abelardo L. Rodríguez area.

A numerous group of children and young teens in the 6-7 years, 8-9 years, 10-11 years, and 12-13 years categories went to Parque Scout in Colonia Mariano Matamoros to participate in the subdelegation preliminary rounds of this event.

The director of IMDET, Cecilio Humberto Hernández González, was in charge of cheering up the competitors who attended the event alongside their family members. Throughout the week, this activity reached other zones of the city.

Each category was able to classify participants for the delegation stage and this weekend, the municipal agency is contemplating carrying out the subdelegation stages in the following zones: Otay Centenario, Centro, Playas de Tijuana, San Antonio de los Buenos, La Presa Abelardo L. Rodríguez, and La Presa Este.
