Baja California has an exceptional governor with Marina del Pilar, claims President of Mexico

AMLO recognized the work done by the state governor

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador arrived in Baja California on Friday, November 10 where he organized not only his famous morning press conference but also highlighted in front of the local press the work carried out by state governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda.

During his speech, AMLO claimed:

Your governor is really exceptional, and I'm not just saying that.

He highlighted the way in which the governor extended the pension age for people with disabilities in the state, as the age limit was previously 29 years and seniors were not receiving any type of economic aid.

Due to this, López Obrador proposed an agreement to Governor Marina del Pilar where the federal government would pay half of these earnings, while the Baja Californian government would pay for the other half. This will allow for all people with disabilities in Baja California to get a pension.

I told Marina, if you pay one half and we pay the other half, we can give all Baja Californians their pension and she agreed," AMLO said.

One should highlight all the achievements and the important work done by Marina del Pilar in the state during her 2 years as the governor of Baja California where more than 100 projects have been developed in several municipalities.

The RESPIRA program is looking to improve the quality of life of all Baja Californians through improvements to road infrastructure such as the nodes located at El Sauzal and Puente Alamar-Hector Terán Terán, the restoration of boulevards, and much more.

In addition, the people of Baja California have been the ones who have been supported the most as minorities are heard and they are provided with the necessary help, as they have been assisted by health brigades with free healthcare services in rural areas, aid to mothers, seniors, and students of all ages.
