To benefit the communities of Mexicali, Ensenada, and Rosarito, the state government will make free health services mobile units available in the communities of these municipalities that require prioritized assistance.
Secretary of Health J. Adrián Medina Amarillas stated that three caravans consisting of 12 equipped vehicles with varied services and technology will be available to provide prompt diagnosis and treatment for people who require it.
From Tuesday, October 10 to Saturday, October 15, services can be requested at the following locations:
Mexicali in Parque Misión del Ángel, in Calle Enandi #659, at Fraccionamiento Misión del Ángel, from 7:00 AM to 16:00 PM.
Ensenada in Parque Revolución, Ave. Moctezuma S/N, Zona Centro, from 7:00 AM to 16:00 PM.
Rosarito in Cancha Baja Parque Infantil, located in Calle Mar de Bering S/N, in Villa Marina, from 8:00 AM to 16:00 PM.
The Mobile Health Centers will offer medical consultations, dentistry, lab studies, chest X-rays, renal and obstetric ultrasound, mammograms, bone densitometry, electrocardiograms, psychological consultations, and pharmacy services, said Medina Amarillas.
In addition, health personnel will promote health and inform people about medical consultations and the different preventive programs that they offer. Among them, there are registrations to access the Surgery Cataract Program for seniors, and free mammograms that will take place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
