9 people are arrested in Tijuana for several crimes

They were arrested by agents of the Municipal Police

The Secretariat of Security led by José Fernando Sánchez González has instructed the strengthening of preventive police rounds in several areas of the city in order to prioritize safeguarding Tijuana's families. These activities led to the arrest of several criminals and fugitives.

At Colonia Nuevo Milenio 2000, municipal police officers were approached by a man who claimed that he had been mugged by an armed man. After a search began in nearby streets, they were able to capture 23-year-old Carlos "N", aka "El Barbas", who had a 9 mm caliber gun loaded with 5 useful cartridges.

Meanwhile, in Colonia Granjas Familiares del Tecolote, thanks to a citizen's report about an armed man on public streets, 33-year-old José "N" was arrested with a 12 mm caliber rifle loaded with 4 useful cartridges.

In addition, 27-year-old Luis "N" was arrested with a knife, moments after trying to rob with violence an OXXO convenience store. This individual had a history of violent robbery, crimes against health, among others.

Regarding a forced entry report in Colonia Libertad, 31-year-old Jesús "N" was arrested with a 9 mm caliber weapon with 6 useful cartridges. Meanwhile, in Colonia Jardines de la Mesa, 14-year-old José "N" and 17-year-old Edgar "N" were both arrested after robbing a business with violence with a 38 mm caliber special revolver loaded with 5 useful cartridges.

Lastly, in different incidents, three fugitives were detained. They were identified as 33-year-old Abraham "N", who had an active arrest warrant for crimes against health; 28-year-old Miguel "N", aka "Efi", who had an arrest warrant due to qualified homicide, and Fredy "N", aka "El Cabezón", who also had an arrest warrant for qualified homicide and was detained with an adapted weapon loaded with .40 mm useful cartridges.

In all of these cases, the detainees were turned over to the proper authorities in order to begin their investigation file.
