Tragic car accident in Vía Rápida, one person crushed to death

The accident took place at the level of Puente Los Olivos and it involved six cars

On Saturday, a traffic car accident took place in Vía Rápida Oriente, at the level of Los Olivos bridge, where sadly one person died and the rest were left pressed against the metals of their cars.

Around 6 cars were involved in this crash, with a total of 13 passengers, where a woman ended up crushed and a man, aged between 55 and 60 years of age, died after a strong rollover.

Red Cross paramedics, Tijuana firefighters, and Municipal Police agents arrived at the scene to provide their services and carry out rescue operations.

Authorities warned that traffic will be partially closed, which is why they asked for precaution when driving in the recently inaugurated Puente de Los Olivos.

The accident occurred near the State Commission of Public Utilities of Tijuana (CESPT) where a limit was set up until the State’s Attorney General Office (FGE) can extract the lifeless body of the adult that died during this crash.
