Alleged human trafficker wanted in the US is arrested in Tijuana

The permanent coordination work with US authorities was highlighted

A man identified as Luis Antonio "N" was arrested yesterday after intelligence work was carried out in coordination with the International Connection of the State Forces of Citizen Security (FESC). The individual was arrested in order to be held accountable for human trafficking crimes.

This arrest took place around 20:04 on April 12, 2023, when State Forces agents approached an address located at Bulevar Casa Blanca, between Streets 14 and 15 in Colonia El Pípila in the city of Tijuana, where a male individual with the described characteristics was identified.

The man, when he noticed the presence of agents, let a plastic package drop to the floor where he was keeping around 3 grams of a white substance granulated with drugs known as ICE.

According to information provided by the General Agency of International Procedures of the Prosecutor Agency of Mexico (FGR), 58-year-old Luis Antonio “N” has a Formal Arrest Warrant with Extradition Purposes to the United States with number 42/2021 due to Human Trafficking crimes.

As such, he was cuffed and he was informed that he would be sent over to the appropriate authorities who would follow up on his extradition process.

The Secretariat of Citizen Security of Baja California (SSCBC) reaffirms its commitment with the population at large regarding working in coordination with authorities of the three levels of government of Mexico, as well as foreign authorities, in order to identify people who could negatively alter the social order of our state.
