Agents from the Citizen Security State Forces (FESC), from the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Baja California (SSCBC), seized almost 22 kilograms of illegal methamphetamine substances and managed to arrest Carlos ‘N’, who was placing the narcotics in a suitcase in the streets of Colonia Florido IV, in Tijuana.

This incident took place in broad daylight in a busy street which is Corredor 2000. FESC officers were driving around the area carrying out crime deterrence and prevention actions in areas marked as priority zones, when they saw a cherry 2014 Jeep Patriot vehicle without visible license plates, which had pulled over and had an open door.

State Forces officers approached the vehicle, in order to ask the person in the truck whether he needed any kind of mechanical assistance.

In that moment, 40-year-old Carlos “N”, a native from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, was caught handling packages wrapped in pink bags, which he was putting inside a fabric suitcase. This made the officers suspicious, which is why he was asked to get off the vehicle to check whether these objects could be part of a crime scene.

In this inspection, they found 49 packages wrapped in pink plastic bags with a palpable grainy substance and methamphetamine drugs, with an approximate weight of 22 kilos and 50 grams.

After finding the drugs, FESC officers arrested the man so they could take him to the proper authorities who will be able to determine his legal situation.

With these actions, the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Baja California (SSCBC) reaffirms its commitment with the citizenship, which is why they keep driving in the streets of the seven municipalities, arresting every person whose intention is to upset social order and harmony.
