Marina del Pilar: There are already 167,000 regularized vehicles in Baja California

The governor of Baja California highlighted that there are more than 160,000 vehicles that have been regularized in the state, making it the national leader regarding this matter

The administration of Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, governor of Baja California, has revealed that 167,469 foreign vehicles have ben regularized; this number has put Baja California as the national leader regarding this matter. The state governor reaffirmed that this is a measure that is a result of the social policy that distinguishes the Fourth Transformation, since it gives certainty to families about their property since cars are a supply that is very important for thousands of people.

Marina del Pilar highlighted that, with these numbers, Baja California is the national leader regarding how citizens have carried out President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s decree. He recently authorized the extension of this benefit all the way up to December 31, 2022, which is why there is still a possibility for those interested to formally legalized their vehicles.

For his part, the Secretary of Finance of Baja California, Marco Antonio Moreno Mexía revealed that, so far, 194,706 appointments have been scheduled on the Public Vehicular Registry (REPUVE) platform. As such, he pointed out that 86% of citizens have completed this process and invited the remaining applicants to go to their respective units to regularize their vehicles. It should be noted that the state has the technical capacity to assist 2,000 daily applications.

Governor Marina del Pilar highlighted the significant relevance that each and every person has started their regularization process at https://www.bajacalifornia.gob.mx/regularizacionbc, so that they can finish it in each of the ten units located in Baja Californian territory. This is because it is a high-impact social policy that strengthens the economy of families, especially those who use these vehicles to travel to schools and work, as well as to receive medical assistance and other essential daily life services. In addition, she encouraged people that have had their vehicles regularized to go to the Revenue Collection Office of Baja California to finish their process.
