Tropical cyclone and rainy season has begun and Hurricane Orlene, which has been classified as Category 2 on the Saffir-Simpson scale, will bring torrential rains of varying intensity to several Mexican states.

According to National Meteorological Services (SMN) of the National Water Commission (CONAGUA), this hurricane will move towards the southern coastline of Sinaloa. If its same trajectory continues, it is estimated that when it gets to land it will become a Category 1 Hurricane on Tuesday afternoon.

Low pressure channels from this same meteorological phenomenon at Sierra Madre Occidental, central Mexico, and the southwest area of the Gulf of Mexico will cause very heavy rain to land in Chiapas; heavy rain in Guerrero and Michoacan; showers in Chihuahua, Coahuila, the State of Mexico, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Sonora, Veracruz, and Yucatan; and isolated rain in Baja California, Baja California Sur, Campeche, Mexico City, Hidalgo, Morelos, Nuevo León, Puebla, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Tabasco, and Tamaulipas.

It should be noted that the weather forecast for the state estimates warm weather during the morning, fresh weather in mountainous areas well as fog in western coasts, and a partially cloudy to cloudy sky, along with northeastern winds of 15 to 30 km/h with gusts of 50 to 60 km/h. On the other hand, the state’s northeastern area will be very hot.
