One ton of methamphetamines is seized at home in Tijuana

In coordination with FESC, SEDENA, and FGR, authorities seized a ton of methamphetamines during a raid at a house in Tijuana

After Citizen Security State Forces (FESC) and the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA) informed about the arrest of a person with almost 200 kilos of methamphetamines in Tijuana and a search warrant for a home in a Tijuana neighborhood, the Attorney General Office revealed that they had seized over 700 kilograms of methamphetamines at this location.

It should be noted that last September 26, state officials responded to a citizen report on the 089 line, where it was stated that a man was carrying barrels with a suspicious substance inside a home at Colima Street in Colonia Magisterial. This is how FESC officers found Rafael “N” in possession of 197.6 kilograms of methamphetamines stored in 377 packages.

Inside the garage, they also found other packages of what looked like drugs which is why the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Baja California asked for a search warrant to the Mexican Attorney General Office (FGR) which was issued on September 29.

This is how 777.4 kilograms of methamphetamines were located stored in 1,570 packages. A white Chevrolet truck was also secured parked inside the residence. In total, approximately 975 kilograms were seized at this location.

This way, the coordinated work strategy is strengthened between the three levels of government to eliminate the causes of violence in Baja California. It also reaffirms the commitment to the public at large to maintain social harmony in the state, responding to reports made through the correct lines: 9-1-1 for emergencies and 089 for anonymous reports.
