Governor Marina del Pilar led the latest campaign of Corazón por Delante (Heart Above All) that took place at the Salvatierra neighborhood in the city of Tijuana. The governor timely and specifically dealt with the needs and concerns of the people who were present at this conference. During this event, social aid and school supplies were delivered, and health-related assistance was delivered as well.

During this event, Marian del Pilar listened to children who spoke about the need for teachers in basic education schools, which is why she immediately instructed the Secretariat of Education to begin a process to resolve the problem as soon as possible.

“It is our commitment to tend to the education of young people, our girls and boys. So, I’m committing myself as soon as possible to bring teachers to Secundaria 27 as well as air conditioning,” the governor said in her speech to those who had made this request.

Regarding air conditioning, Ávila Olmeda said that “no child will be left without the best conditions and that includes air conditioning” which is why several agencies are working on a process so that high temperatures don’t affect education.

The governor pointed out that citizens will see the government officials of Baja California close to the community, since services need to directly resolve the needs of the population, following the example of the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

The governor highlighted that the Fourth Transformation has renewed the way of approaching governing, because the needs of those who need it the most are prioritized which is why the Government of Mexico and the Baja Californian administration have joined efforts in order to increase the support for people with disabilities, the elderly, and every community that has needs they need fulfilled in order to reach their full potential.

“This is why we are here today, elderly people, working mothers with their children, and people with disabilities. With all of you we have made a commitment and if there is something you can be certain of is that we will never let you go and you will never walk alone again,” Ávila Olmeda concluded.

At this event, uniforms, school shoes, and backpacks were delivered so that students can be better prepared for the beginning of the 2022-2023 school cycle, as well as the delivery of Violet Cards, wheelchairs, and property titles by INDIVI.
