The debut by Mexican Alfredo Gutiérrez with the San Francisco 49ers has received praised from several people who foretell for him a promising future in the NFL. On his first preseason match, his team won a match against the Minnesota Vikings. The Mexican player was awarded a game ball for his efforts.
Alfredo Gutiérrez is 26 years old and is from Tijuana. He has spoken about his professional football debut and referred to it as an incredible experience. Meanwhile, his colleagues have mentioned that his presence in the team is to everyone’s liking, adding that they have all become friends with the Mexican player.
Among the people who have congratulated the young player, Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar was one of them. She said that the Tijuana native is something that makes all children that want to have a professional career in sports proud, while, at the same time, she also wished him good luck.
The young Tijuana player responded by thanking the governor for her good wishes.
Alfredo joined the San Francisco 49ers in 2021 through an international NFL program. However, he was not able to have his debut. The NFL has already confirmed a regular season match in Mexico City, where they will face against the Arizona Cardinals where the Tijuana native will be able to play in order to become a main player, and play for his country.
