Alexa Moreno will soon receive support from the Sports and Physical Culture Institute of Baja California (INDE) that will give her the necessary equipment, including her own gym, in order to prepare to represent Mexico at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.

Alexa Moreno, who won fourth place in Tokyo 2020, went to INDE BC facilities where she met with General Director Lourdes Cañez Martínez in order to talk about the progress regarding support by the state government led by Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda to build a new gym in Mexicali.

Lourdes Cañez underscored the importance of Baja California’s support for Alexa Moreno, which will include equipment and devices for the gym, in order to create new gymnastic generations under the coordination of the best gymnast in Mexico.

According to the working program, it is expected that this new artistic gymnastics gym begins operations in about four to five months in the capital of Baja California.
