Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda has distinguished herself once more as one of the best rated governors in Mexico, according to the monthly ranking by pollster Mitofsky.
Marina del Pilar stood out in both Governors and All Governors categories. Regarding the latter category, she had an approval rating of 57.5%. She was Top 5 in this category, and the only female governor in this ranking. It should be noted that there was only a difference of 1.3% between her and Queretaro governor, Mauricio Kuri.
On the other hand, in the Female Governors category, Marina del Pilar was the best rated governor in Mexico with the same approval rating of 57.5%. She was ranked above Tlaxcala Governor, Lorena Cuéllar with a difference of 0.2%. Regarding the approval ratings of MORENA governors and the best female governors of this political party, Marina del Pilar came in second. This rating ranked her with a “HIGH” approval rating, according to Mitofsky.
The governor of Baja California has carried out several different projects and actions in order to support Baja California's communities, such as road restorations in Tijuana’s eastern zone, initiatives to boost hotel occupancy, the creation of a new outpatient oncological center in Tijuana, promoting work in young people with disabilities, and public spaces for children and teenagers in the state.
From November 2021 to July 2022, the Baja Californian governor has kept high approval and evaluation ratings well above 57%, leading the Top 5 Governors of Mexico ranking. Regarding rankings by pollster Demoscopia Digital, Marina del Pilar was rated as the second best governor in the entire country with an approval rating above 65.3%.
