El Corte Inglés sells a brand of sports shoes and sandals that alludes to the city of Tijuana

Tijuana has and is an inspiration for many literary works and movies, however, there are also some unusual things it has inspired such as a KFC sauce. Recently, we have just found out that it has also inspired a particular shoe brand.

That’s right! El Corte Inglés (The English Cut) sells a brand of sports shoes and sandals that allude to the city of Tijuana. It should be noted that they are a worldwide distribution group headquartered in Spain founded in 1940, composed of enterprises with different formats.

If you visit their official website or visit any of their branches in Spain, you will be able to see these shoes. Prices range from 5.55 euros for the sandals to 25.95 euros for the sports shoes. This means that to buy these Tijuana shoes, a client would have to pay from $122.73 pesos ($5.85 dollars) to $535.27 pesos ($25.75 dollars).

It should be noted that El Corte Inglés also sells informal and relaxed clothing, such as beachwear, as well as skateboards. Regarding this brand’s origin, there is not a lot information since they don’t have social media pages.
