Talented Tijuana native joins Baja Window to the South show

Besides being a reporter, she also had a role in a movie that will premiere this year

Baja Window to the South is always looking to invite and discover talent coming from the Baja Californian border and in the latest episode, it had Denitza García as a guest. She was born in San Diego but raised in Tijuana, which makes her a “Tijuana native through adoption”, as well as being a “border girl” since she lived constantly between Tijuana and San Diego. She studied acting in both countries, going to an acting school in Mexico City and the famous Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles.

Denitza has appeared in several different TV shows and movies, the most well-known ones being Fear the Walking Dead and Across the Line with Andy García and Aidan Quinn. Both of these projects had scenes filmed in Baja Californian territory and are now worldwide famous. Denitza’s new project will be a role in the movie Day Labor, which will premiere this year.

She added that Baja California is a big part of her since this state has given her so much. She stated that since the first moment she stood on a stage when she was 3 years old, she decided that she wanted to do this for the rest of her life. She has not only acted in front of the camera, but she also been part of the production crew in several films, highlighting how important quality is for her.

Among the Baja Californian spots where Denitza has filmed, one of her favorite experiences has been in Ensenada, where she filmed scenes for Fear the Walking Dead. She added that she hopes that all the talent in this region ends up being recognized through several films and productions.

This won’t be the last time that García will be in Baja Window to the South as she will be part of the team as a reporter. She claims that she will bring viewers to different places in Baja California so that both tourists and residents discover the wonders of this state and visit it
