Tijuana’s Cultural Center (CECUT) announced that they will say goodbye to artists and creators Paco Mufote and Raymundo Garduño, who died last week in a car accident in the Transpeninsular Highway, as they were heading to film a Netflix production.
The event organized by CECUT will take place on Tuesday June 21, 2022 in the lobby of El Cubo starting at 4 PM and ending at 8 PM. “Join us in saying goodbye to Paco Mufote and Ray Garduño in their home: Centro Cultural Tijuana,” they stated in their message.
Unfortunately, it seems that the accident that caused these artists’ death was due to negligence. It was revealed that since a few weeks ago, the actors had complained about the poor logistics during the production that had places such as Santa Rosalía, Loreto, and San Ignacio as locations.
Likewise, it was revealed that they were traveling in old cars with worn tires with exploited and tired drivers. Because of this, the Netflix production has been asked to be cancelled so that producers can face the consequences of this tragedy.
