Tijuana beers win silver medals in International Competition

Mexico was a winner of several gold, silver, and bronze medals

The results of the Aro Rojo beer competition have recently been revealed. This is an international competition that is looking to award the best beers of the world. It should be noted that Mexico is one of the countries that presented the most beers.

Mexico became the winner of several gold and silver medals. The breweries Primus, Loba, Refrán, 1993, Santo Negro, Cardera, Wendlandt, Meta Brews, Ramuri, among others, were awarded a gold medal.

Tijuana’s Cervecería Mamut brewery won a silver medal for its three beers: Mastodonte (Imperial Stout), Mr. Willy (American Brown), and Búho Prehistórico (California Common). “This year we won three silver medals at @arorojo, the international beer competition of 2022,” they shared on social media.

One of the goals of this contest was to promote the country’s breweries and their beers. This is why the best and most experienced national and international judges participated.

According to their website, this is done “expecting that their tasting observations and comments are used by breweries to improve their processes.”
