Baja California Governor, Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, surprised everyone once more since every time an approval ratings poll is made she is always in the first five places. On this occasion, El Economista published the results of the Mitofsky poll where her approval ratings percentage between April and May was revealed.
During this period, Marina del Pilar was the second MORENA governor with the most popularity, though she is actually the most popular female governor in all of Mexico, polling five points above the head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum.
Meanwhile, Marina del Pilar’s approval rating is 59.2% and she ranks fourth place among all governors only below Miguel Riquelme of Coahuila, Mauricio Vila of Yucatán, and Rubén Rocha Moya of Sinaloa.
In addition, during this same month, media outlet Demoscopia Digital revealed that Marina leads their rankings. Regarding this, the head of this pollster company, Mario Garza, stated that Marina del Pilar leads when it comes to approval ratings according to their sampling, analyzed by scientific methods and criteria.
Garza also shared that some of the things that make Baja Californians prefer Governor Marina del Pilar are related to the policies implemented by her administrations in key issues such as education, public security, economic development, health, public works, and the environment.
In fact, Marina del Pilar recently participated in the 50th anniversary celebration of the company Poly México, one of the most well-renowned industrial institutions worldwide where she spoke about the importance of building an alliance between authorities and the business sector to strengthen the region’s economy.
