Recently, a video went viral on social media where a young man threatens to bomb the Preparatoria Federal Lázaro Cárdenas facilities, while showing the explosives he intended to use.
In this recording, a person wearing the school uniform is seen at a Boulevard Sánchez Taboada median saying that he only has three days to live and he wants to “take advantage” of them by blemishing the high school’s image.
The school administrative staff posted on social media that, after the bomb threat, they have carried out the security protocol for federal educational centers, and have also notified the proper authorities.
A video on social media was also posted where the school’s principal, Carlos Abel Eslava Carrillo, speaks with the school community at large stating that his priority is to safeguard the integrity and safety of all students, which is why he asked for patience and calm during these times.
He also asked students to continue their activities normally and also reiterated that it wasn’t necessary for parents to pick them up because everything was under control.
