Temperatures are rising and as days become less gray and bluer, they are also becoming more perfect to enjoy the outdoors. Easter holidays have arrived as well, so Mexicans are enjoying their days off by going to the beach.
This is why digital magazine Food and Travel has selected five beaches that one can enjoy with their friends during this season. Among these, Baja California’s Rosarito beach was chosen, where one can have fun with activities such as surfing and promenades.
In addition, the magazine also highlights Rosarito as the place where many international movies and TV shows were filmed such as Oscar winner Titanic and The Walking Dead spinoff, Fear The Walking Dead, a long-running apocalyptic and zombie-themed series.
The thing the magazine highlighted the most about visiting Rosarito, however, is the very thing that always delights both the locals and foreigners: the food and, particularly, the Puerto Nuevo style lobsters and the delicious flour tortillas served with beans and rice.
The other beaches Food and Travel magazine recommended were Puerto Escondido in Oaxaca, Sayulita and San Pancho in Nayarit, Puerto Vallarta in Jalisco, and Mazatlán in Sinaloa. What do you think? Are you joining other Mexicans to enjoy the beach in any of these places?
