Expo Tlaqueparte 2022 in Rosarito

This exhibition is considered the most important worldwide handicraft exhibition in Mexico. “TlaquepArte” is back in Baja California and represents a unique opportunity to buy products that are not easily found in the northern Mexico area.

At this event there will be 200 exhibitors from all over Mexico and 16 Latin American countries such as Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Cuba, Guatemala, Paraguay, and Ecuador, and countries from all over the world such as Turkey, Russia, Greece, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Senegal, Egypt, among others.

During this exhibition, you will be able to find items from all over the world such as:

  • Mata Ortiz pottery from Chihuahua
  • Olinalá boxes from Guerrero
  • Silver from Taxco
  • Exotic wood from Cuba
  • Paintings from Peru
  • Carved wood from Ecuador
  • Guavas from Yucatan
  • Pottery and blanket clothing from Jalisco
  • Lamps from Turkey
  • Coffee from Colombia
  • Costume jewelry from Turkey and Russia
  • Rugs from Egypt
  • Hats from Panama

This event will begin on Friday, March 18 through Monday, March 21 at Baja California Center located in the Escénica Tijuana-Ensenada Highway, No. 1029, Ejido Mazatlán. The exhibition will open at 10:30 AM and close at 8 PM. Admission is free.

Ensenada Beer Fest 2022

With more than a decade of history as one of the biggest craft beer festivals in Mexico, Ensenada Beer Fest aims to bring the best of the craft beer industry to Baja California.

This festival will begin on Friday, March 18 at 2:00 PM and will end on Saturday, March 19 at 12:00 AM. This will take place at Centro Social, Cívico y Cultural Riviera de Ensenada, located in Blvd Lázaro Cárdenas, Club Rotario 1421, Zona Centro.

You will be able to meet all the main vendors and soak yourself in all the different kinds of craft beer in a great environment that includes 120 craft beers, 25 restaurants, 4 musical stages, and 3 days of conferences.

"Pintar el monte con los dedos" in Ensenada

If you are more of a musical scene person, in Ensenada a concert will take place called “Pintar el monte con los dedos” (Painting the mount with your fingers), a project supported by the Secretariat of Culture through the National Center of Arts and the Chapultepec project.

This concert will take place in Centro Estatal de las Artes on Saturday, March 19 at 5 PM. Admission will be free and it will have the participation of the Latin American music ensemble KIMÚ.

The Centro Estatal de las Artes is located in Blvd, Lázaro Cárdenas 1430, Playa Ensenada, 22880 Ensenada, B.C.

Nacho Vegas in Black Box Tijuana

On Saturday, March 19 Nacho Vegas will appear in Black Box for a concert at Av. Revolución 1217-Int 2, Zona Centro at 9 PM. Admission is only for those 18 years or older and proof of vaccination is required.

The Spanish singer-songwriter from the indie scene distinguishes himself with his rock and folk songs that showcase his experiences and preoccupations with social issues. With a great discography, the Asturian musician will be live in Tijuana to give his audience an interesting evening.

Prices:

  • Numbered VIP: $900 pesos (44 dollars)
  • General: $600 pesos (30 dollars)
