Rosarito is once again the venue of the most important international handicraft exhibition: TlaquepArte

“TlaqupeArte” is one of the most important international handicraft exhibitions of Mexico

The beautiful municipality of Rosarito in Baja California continues to be one of the most renowned destinations of the state, due to its gastronomy (such as with the popular Puerto Nuevo style lobster) and for being a venue for international events such as the World Volleyball Tour and this month’s TlaquepArte exhibition.

This event will take place from Friday March 18th to March 21st for the fifth time in Baja California. The hours of Baja California’s International Exhibition of handicrafts, jewelry, and decorations “TlaquepArte” will be from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM. There will be more than 200 Mexican and international exhibitors from countries such as Turkey, Russia, Greece, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Senegal, Egypt, among others.

The Tourism and Convention Committee of Playas de Rosarito (Cotuco) invites all Baja Californians and tourists to attend this completely free event, while complying with the appropriate health measures such as face mask usage and safe distancing.

Due to the good response of this event in its previous instances, it is expected that around 5,000 foreigners attend it with a total assistance of 15,000 people. This event will boost tourism in the state since it is estimated that around 1,200 rooms will be rented this week, leaving an economic revenue of $6,000,000.00 approximately.

“TlaquepArte” is one of the most important international handicraft exhibitions of Mexico, where visitors will be able to find jewelry, crafts, clothing, gastronomy, and other types of national and worldwide products.
