In Baja California, the government of Marina del Pilar and Amazon will boost digital commerce

Workshops on selling and exporting items through Amazon will be conducted

In order to promote the adoption of tools and new technologies that are part of the public policies directed by Governor Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda of Baja California, which is established with the linking of global companies for the benefit of entrepreneurs, the business sector, and the entire Baja Californian society.

Kurt Honold Morales, Baja California's Secretary of Economy and Innovation, said that an agreement with Amazon Mexico would be formed for these goals.

Two seminars will be given remotely and free of charge on February 9 and 16 as the first accompaniment activities for enterprises who wish to learn how to start selling their products online and enhance their sales channels.

The first course will be titled "How to Sell Online on Amazon," and it will begin at 5:00 p.m. Registration is necessary at https://goo.su/anZg by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

On Wednesday, February 16, a second session with the topic "How to export through Amazon" will be held for enterprises interested in crossing borders with their products.

The secretary stated that the training offer that the various sections of the Secretariat will have to benefit the largest number of enterprises and entrepreneurs would be published through the media and social media.

There is a commitment to help the business community on problems of innovation, digitalization, technology tools, and web services in the Innovation Department, which is part of the Investment Management Undersecretariat.
