Tijuana's Plaza Rio will continue to hold vaccinations for another week

Vaccination was a success in this crowded Tijuana plaza

The booster vaccine for persons over 40 years old began in several parts of the city on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022, and one of these locations was Plaza Ro, where there were pretty big lines but relatively little waiting time.

Plaza Ro has become one of the most effective vaccination locations due to the above and its position, and it will remain the headquarters until at least the next week, according to plaza officials on social media.

We inform you that the Covid-19 vaccination program will be verified in this shopping center until January 14th, with a schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the parking lot next to the expressway, at the height of Cinépolis, following the official letter sent by the Institute of Public Health Services of the State of Baja California.

That means you may still be vaccinated until the following Friday, February 14th, with a 2:00 p.m. cut-off time. This week, three immunization stations were opened in Tijuana: Plaza Ro for pedestrians, Chevron Stadium for cars, and Sanitary Jurisdiction No. 2 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
