In Baja California, restaurants and institutions must ask for proof of vaccination

It will be essential to show proof of vaccination to access establishments starting this week

With the arrival of the micron variant in Baja California, the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (Coepris), has announced that proof of vaccination will be required to enter establishments such as restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.

This was revealed during a press conference held by the chiefs of the dependencies, during which several new business rules aimed at reducing Covid-19 infections were announced.

Workers, clients, and suppliers will now be required to produce confirmation of Covid-19 immunization, either physically or digitally, under the new requirements.

They also stated that CO2 monitors should be utilized in all enclosed places to ensure adequate ventilation and that CO2 levels are kept below 1000 parts per million and provide a mask if the user does not bring one.

They also stated that all people who do not have a face mask should be given one, particularly on public transportation, where it has been seen that users do not utilize it.
