In Baja, California, Governor Marina del Pilar launches road reconstruction work

A total of 110 million pesos will be invested in all municipalities

Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda, the Governor of Baja California, has started the State Highway Rehabilitation Program to repair the pavement in all of Baja California's towns' principal roadways. A total of 110 million pesos will be spent on the renovation.

On Monday, Governor Marina del Pilar vila Olmeda of Baja California announced the start of the State Highway Rehabilitation Program, which will repair the pavement in all of the state's towns' main roadways, costing more than 110 million pesos.

The initial road construction began in Mexicali's Nueva Esperanza neighborhood, with the remainder of the state's cities following suit in the following months. The president said that the State Government's recycling equipment would be employed to do this, as well as the capital city's climatic circumstances, to expedite construction on Sinaloa Avenue.

She stated that more than 6 million 800 thousand pesos would be committed to the rescue of streets in Mexicali, which has been desired by the public for many years but has been ignored by previous governments. Arturo Espinoza Jaramillo, Secretary of Infrastructure, Urban Development, and Territorial Reorganization (SIDURT), stated that the initiative considers roadways with a high vehicle index.

The first stage of the Rehabilitation Program will take place on Sinaloa and Sonora streets (Independencia), spanning 4,600 linear meters and 76 thousand square meters, from Calzada de los Presidentes (Ro Nuevo) to Heroico Colegio Militar (11th street).

On the Santa Isabel highway, Luis Alcerrega street, Tierra Blanca street, Heroico Colegio Militar street, and Cuyutlán street, the second stage will take place. The third stage will also take place in the streets of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Uxmal, and Avenida Jalisco.

The deputy Ramón Vázquez Valadez, president of the Obdulia Metropolitan Development, Conurbation and Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation commission, as well as community representative Angélica Verdugo and merchant representative Obdulia Félix, were present at the start of the State Road Rehabilitation Program.
