The Public Trust for the Administration of Funds and Investment of the Centinela - La Rumorosa Highway Section (FIARUM) is preparing its workers to offer the required road support for the weekend, one day before the New Year's Eve festivities begin in Baja California.
Carlos Gómez González, the General Administrator, stated that an increase in vehicle capacity is expected during the New Year, as it was last weekend due to the Christmas festivities, and that there are roadside assistance units that circulate along the highway 24 hours a day to assist users in the event of a breakdown.
Similarly, vehicles can utilize the 32 roadside aid towers to request assistance or report an accident.
To avert a road accident, the Trust's General Administrator advised users to verify the mechanical condition of their car before getting on the road.
Forecasts for Friday, December 31, and Saturday, January 1 indicate the possibility of sporadic rainfall and gusts of wind for the La Rumorosa region, so travel cautiously and obey speed limits.
