Baja California booster vaccinations for health and education employees begin on Monday

The reinforcement will also be applied to elderly persons in B.C

On Monday, health and education employees in Baja California will begin receiving booster vaccinations against Covid-19, as directed by the state's governor, Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda, and following President Andrés Manuel López Obrador's policy.

The Secretary of Health, J. Adrián Medina Amarillas, announced this, plans to use 70 thousand doses for teachers and around 40 thousand doses for doctors and health personnel from public and private institutions. In addition, those above the age of 60 will continue to receive booster shots.

"We will comply with the Governor's task in orderly days, in a massive way for teachers; in the case of health personnel, it will be in the various State and federal institutions, so that our doctors at the forefront of the pandemic and other workers feel safe in the work they do every day for the population's well-being," expresses.

In the context of the state's return to face-to-face classes, which will begin in January next year, Secretary of Education Gerardo Arturo Sols Benavides emphasized the importance of strengthening virus protection; he thanked teachers and administrators, as well as all education staff, for their patience while the necessary steps were taken to ensure a biological for this purpose.

Members of the teaching profession must provide their INE, an identity card that certifies them as educators, to receive the booster dosage, and they are encouraged to use the printed and filled-out federal format to speed up the procedure at mass vaccination.

VACCINATION CENTERS MEXICALI EDUCATION AND HEALTH PROFESSIONALS:

Tijuana

- Educational sector and adults over 60 years old: from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., El Trompo Museum is pedestrianized, and Chevron Stadium is vehicular.

- Medical Personnel: Jurisdiction #2, Tijuana General Hospital, and Regional General Hospital #20. (They will be called.)

Cove

- Educational sector: Riviera Cultural Center, which is open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is pedestrianized.

- Adults over the age of 60: Military Camp of the Second Zone (El Ciprés), pedestrian and vehicular access, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

- Health Personnel: Health Services, Ensenada General Hospital, and Ensenada General Hospital, Zone No. 8. (They're going to be summoned)

- Educational sector, health professionals, and individuals over the age of 60: State Center of the Arts, pedestrianized, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
