The Secretary of Economy and Innovation of the State, Kurt Ignacio Honold Morales, on the orders of the Governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, traveled to Mexico City to follow up on the agreements that the president reached with the German ambassadors. and France, Peter Temel, and Jean-Pierre Asvazadourian.

In the case of Germany, Honold Morales's approach is about Energy, the environmental policies promoted by the Administration headed by Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda, despite possible investments in the automotive sector.

While the discussion with France focused on organizing the International Wine Congress, which will be held in November 2022, as well as the possibility of building strategic partnerships for best practices in water concerns to enhance the winemaking process and manage culinary exchanges.

It should be recalled that Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda, from the beginning of her career in the State Public Administration, decided to eliminate the State Wine Tax, increasing the sector's international competitiveness.

Manufacturing is another crucial issue in this discussion since Baja California has distinguished itself by having a skilled workforce that pays off for foreign corporations, putting the state on the map.
