Baja California's Governor-elect introduces 3 other members to her cabinet

Once again, Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, makes a live broadcast from her Facebook platform to announce and introduce 3 more members of her cabinet that will take office on November 1st, these new cabinet members will occupy the positions of Secretary of Agriculture, Secretary of Culture and Secretary of Tourism.

They are Juan Meléndrez Espinoza as proposed for the Secretary of Agriculture and Food Security, Miguel Aguiñiga Rodríguez for the Secretary of Tourism to be created in the next administration and Alma Delia Ábrego Ceballos as the future head of the Secretary of Culture of Baja California.

Juan Meléndrez Espinoza is an architect by the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC), as well as an outstanding businessman with more than 20 years of experience, especially in the agriculture and construction sectors, standing out in the first one by dedicating himself to the planting of watermelon and wheat, being also a precursor of corn in the state.

In public service, he served as deputy of the XXIII Legislature of the Congress of the State of Baja California, where he chaired the Commission of Agriculture, Livestock, Port Affairs and Fisheries, through which he promoted several initiatives related to the strengthening of the agricultural and fisheries sector, as well as sustainable rural development. In addition, he was Alternate Federal Deputy for Federal District 01, from 2018 to 2021.

For his part, Miguel Aguiñiga Rodríguez was Director of Market Development and Distribution for the well-known airline Volaris, a position where he has developed strategic alliances to open new destinations and strengthen expansion plans. He joined the company in 2006 and since then has held positions as marketing and sales manager, as well as regional sales manager, from where he has contributed to the growth of the successful company.

He is also known as a specialist in teamwork, with negotiation skills and one of the greatest sales leaders in our region, as well as an outstanding lecturer in national and international forums, developing commercial strategies with the objective of increasing sales and market share.

His work in the private sector has allowed him to be an important promoter of tourism in favor of the entity and the Mexican Republic.

Alma Delia Ábrego Ceballos is an outstanding academic from Baja California, with a degree in Communication from the Universidad Iberoamericana and postgraduate studies in Cultural Policy Management and Ibero-American Cooperation from the University of Barcelona. She has also held positions in the federal government at the federal level.

In addition, in the private sector she has worked in sales and marketing, areas in which her experience exceeds two decades, development, social management and social philanthropy. In addition, she has taught in several Mexican universities in the areas of social marketing, public relations and cultural management, and has been a fundraising consultant for more than one civil association.

Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda emphasized that these are people with experience in each of their respective fields, who are also committed to contribute to the transformation of Baja California as part of a national process of renewal of public life, always attached to the values and principles of the political movement that was consolidated at the polls and that has a high approval of the citizens.
