Through a press release from its official website, Forbes released a list of the 50 visionary women on Wall Street and "beyond". This group was called "50 over 50" and among them was Tijuana's Beatriz Acevedo, who took the opportunity to congratulate, through her Facebook account, all the 10 thousand nominees for this title.

Incredibly honored to represent @wearesuma on the @ForbesWomen investment list - 50 out of 50 - alongside incredible women who are shaping the future of finance, nurturing high-growth companies and forging a more innovative and inclusive financial future. Congratulations to the 50 women selected from a pool of 10,000 nominees!

Forbes also noted that these women are leading investors and financiers running high-growth businesses in spaces that are typically dominated by Wall Street men. The women who made the list are characterized by having a "significant impact on the future," said Forbes.

On the other hand, the editor of ForbesWomen, Maggie MacGrath, indicated that these women, 50 years old or older, stand out for changing finance and creating new ways to generate money, while at the same time guiding new generations of women to stand out in an industry dominated by men.

Tijuana native Beatriz Acevedo is known for co-founding mitú, the leading digital media brand for young Latinos in the United States. She is also the founder of Suma Health, dedicated to creating culturally relevant content and virtual experiences that provide financial tools.
