Although Tijuana does not concentrate many active COVID-19 cases, compared to Mexicali, it is the municipality with the second highest number of active cases.
As of Monday, there are a total of 358 active cases in Baja California, of which 246 are in Mexicali, 86 in Tijuana, 15 in Ensenada, five in San Felipe, three in Tecate, two in Rosarito and one in San Quintín.
According to the Secretary of Health, Alonso Pérez Rico, 63 are hospitalized, and 38 more are in a health unit but needing a ventilator, while the remaining 257 are recovering at home.
This is why the following are the neighborhoods where these last active cases are accumulating, and where prevention measures should be reinforced before the COVID-19, according to what was informed by the head of this dependency.
