Fernanda Sandoval Bojorquez, a native of San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, and current student of Aeronautical Engineering at the Instituto Tecnologico de Tijuana (ITT), was selected to participate in the International Air and Space Program (IASP) of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center located in Huntsville, Alabama.
This program, which is part of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), consists of a five-day course where those selected are trained as NASA engineers, explained the young woman to El Imparcial.
However, this opportunity has a cost and a limit to pay for it, the first part, which allowed her to secure her place among the 60 available, she has already covered, but the total cost is 3 thousand 360 dollars, which she has yet to collect.
It is worth mentioning that Fernanda works and studies, but in order not to miss this opportunity she has chosen to sell chocolates, an initiative that has already been spread by family, friends and media, while other organizations want to help her by also looking for some donors.
If you want to support this young woman, on Saturday she will be selling chocolates at the corner of Calimax del Rio starting at 11:00 a.m.
