After presenting the Secretary of Health of Baja California Alonso Pérez Rico, the unique and authorized sanitary protocol for Day Care Centers and Children's Homes, it was stated that by complying with these guidelines in these institutions they could reopen.
In light of this, the head of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in this state, Dr. Desirée Sagarnaga, confirmed that 90% of their day care centers have complied with the measures set forth in this document, and therefore will resume their work on Monday, November 23.
The care rooms will operate at up to 25% of their capacity, which is currently 15 thousand 274 spaces and there are 9 thousand children enrolled, Sagarnaga said.
According to the special protocol for this activity, priority attention will be given to children of workers who have returned to work after being suspended because of COVID-19.
If you are an owner, representative, organizer or leader of a day care center or childcare facility and want to reopen, you should contact the Secretary of Health of Baja California for more information about this unique protocol.
