If for some reason you decide to enter the pages of the Government of Baja California or Mexico, you will find statements that ask basically the same thing: on October 31 you stay home because most localities suffer an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases.

But that day has come and gone. And here in Tijuana the celebration was big, because the streets of the downtown area were full of people who refused to abandon one of the most fun traditions of the year. All this in the midst of a pandemic that has already claimed the lives of more than 90 thousand Mexicans.

However, it seems that for one night thousands of Mexicans decided to forget about it and went out to celebrate. This has given, not only Tijuana residents but all those who went out to the streets, the nickname "Covidiotas" which has become a trend on Twitter.

In the same way, social media users don't stop giving their opinion about these people and calling them irresponsible, blaming them for the possible change to red light, while others defend those who went out. What do you think about this? Did you go out or did you stay in?

So far, Mexico has 925 thousand cases of coronavirus in total and has registered 91 thousand 753 deaths in total. On the other hand, Baja California has 23 thousand 114 infections and 3 thousand 838 deaths. This is according to data provided by the Ministry of Public Health.
