Does your work route include Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez Boulevard? We have some news that could save you a few minutes of traffic. This is because the City of Tijuana has scheduled to suspend traffic in both directions of this boulevard.
This news was announced on the official website of the government of Tijuana, where they explained that the boulevard has an urban " gap " in comparison to others and that due to this situation they will begin to repair the main road of the El Florido neighborhood in the East Zone.
According to them, this will benefit more than 55 thousand citizens in the long term. According to the press release, "the Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez boulevard will be closed, from the Margen Derecho boulevard to Mango street, that is, from the Tecate agency to Plaza Las Fuentes, in both bodies of the road".
On the other hand, the suggestion for people for whom this could be a problem is that they take alternate routes, among which the Hidalgo Route towards Main Street or towards El Roble Street stand out.
The work, which will begin on Wednesday, October 7, covers 39 thousand 200 square meters and in theory should be maintained in good condition for approximately 30 years. This construction will last at least 150 days.
