How do I apply for a Mexican passport from the United States?
You can make your appointment by dialing 1(877) 639-4835 (6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday) or online at https://mexitel.sre.gob.mx.
The SRE will send you an email with the form to make the payment of the fee. The payment must be ready one day before the appointment.
On the day of the appointment, the applicant should come with a certified birth certificate and an official photo ID. The passport photo is already taken when the application is made and no others should be taken.
