Active coronavirus cases in Tijuana are concentrated in these neighborhoods

The border city registers 211 active cases out of the 488 in Baja California

The Secretary of Health, Alonso Perez Rico informed that Baja California still has 488 active COVID-19 cases, so this Monday, September 8, he presented the neighborhoods of the different municipalities where these cases are located.

For example, Tijuana, where 211 cases have been registered and which in the last few days has seen a rise in these numbers, remains to this day as the municipality with most active cases in the region.

According to information from Perez Rico, the neighborhoods in the border city where these cases are concentrated are Zona Rio (8), Camino Verde (7), Los Altos (6), Pedregal de San Julia (6), Las Cumbres (5) and Villa Fontana (5).

In addition, the Secretary of Health reported that the accumulated positive cases are 17 thousand 683, with Tijuana being the one where more new cases were reported (14) and occupying the second place for confirmed cases.

In the case of deaths, 3 thousand 236 Baja Californians have lost the battle against COVID-19, with only one thousand 476 from Mexicali.

However, at least 10 thousand 155 are the patients who have managed to recover in the region.
