Coronavirus: Tijuana back to number one with most active cases in Baja California

The border city also reported the highest number of new cases by registering 116

In the COVID-19 cases update, presented this Saturday morning by the Secretary of Health, Alonso Perez Rico, the Baja California population was informed that the state is still at a red light after having 16 thousand 660 confirmed cases and 3 thousand 102 deaths due to this virus.

In turn, according to the image above, Tijuana reported 116 new cases, ranking as the municipality with the highest number of these cases compared to the rest of the state.

It is worth mentioning that Baja California also increased its number of active cases, a total of 496 so far, with the border city being the municipality that occupies the first place on the list, with 176 of these cases, surpassing Mexicali.

On the other hand, the region reports 9 thousand 532 Baja Californians who have managed to win the battle against COVID-19, 5 thousand 305 of them from Mexicali, 2 thousand 213 from Tijuana, 194 from Tecate, one thousand 351 from Ensenada, 339 from San Quintin and 130 from Rosarito.
