During President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador's morning conference on Tuesday, August 11, the Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs (SRE), Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon, reported on the opening of Mexican consulates in the United States.
The Secretary said that because of the COVID-19 pandemic, these facilities were closed, but currently most of these units are already available and operating in the American country, except for the consulates located in Denver and Phoenix which, under instructions from the authorities in these areas, only operate in case of emergencies.
