San Felipe's boardwalk and beaches will be partially open to the public
Health protocols are being prepared, according to the mayor
The boardwalk and beaches of San Felipe plan to partially open to the public in the coming days, announced Mayor Marina del Pilar Avila during her daily update broadcast of COVID-19.
The municipal president assured that they are already working on a series of health protocols that must be endorsed by the Economy Ministry and the State Health Ministry to allow the reopening and increase hotel capacity.
It should be noted that the approval of the ruling depends on the numbers of infections in the region and to keep them down.
Last week, San Felipe opened its port to local tourism only, allowing 30% occupancy in its hotels and restaurants.
