On July 27, almost two months after the start of the "new normal", and as it has been done every afternoon since March, the numbers for the last 24 hours on the coronavirus status in our country were given.

The Head of Epidemiology, Jose Luis Alomia, was responsible for presenting these numbers: Mexico has a total of 395 thousand 489 coronavirus cases, of which it is estimated that 47 thousand 655 cases are active.

On the other hand, there are 44 thousand and 22 deaths due to the virus. There are also 85 thousand 986 people who are waiting for their results. According to information from past updates, of the number of suspicious cases, approximately 42 thousand people will test positive for COVID-19.

The graphs shown in the statement, follow the trend of recent days: the entities with the highest number of infections are Mexico City and the State of Mexico.

Regarding hospital availability, there are still more than 50% in most states, except in those mentioned above and also in Nuevo Leon, Tabasco, Nayarit and Puebla, which have more than 50% of hospital occupation.

On the other hand, Baja California has a hospital availability of more than 50% in general as well as ventilator beds.
