Just about a month away from the release of the new and final Game of Thrones season, the Ommegang Brewery in New York, that has previously released GOT inspired beer, is celebrating it with the released of a brand new brew called “For The Throne"

This beer has 9.5 ABV and according to a representative of the brand this is a tribute to those who aspire to be the final occupant of the Iron Throne

It’s a golden ale co-fermented with pinot grigio and viognier grape juices. Its aroma hints at honeysuckle, toasted grain, pear and apricot, and the tasting notes are sweet malt and honey dew.

The beer will go on sale March 8, at the Brewery Ommegang located in Cooperstown New York, and it will be available in the rest of the United States in April.
